DAVID HOLT TAKES OUT NSW STATE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TITLE
Congratulations to Active Bowls own manager David Holt who was victorious in the 2012 NSW Champion of Champions Singles competition held at Austral Bowling Club late last year.
David who had previously won the State Singles back in 2003 and State Pairs 2011 was ecstatic following his 31-17 final victory over NSW Most improved bowler Matt Miles of Taren Point.
"I really wanted to win this one as the winner from every state now travels to South Australia in November 2013 to fight it out for the Australian Champion of Champions title"
David uses the new Henselite Fusion bowl for the majority of his bowling competiton however on a slower paced green also enjoys the little extra turn his Dreamline XG give him to navigate around short bowls at the head.
"With both the superb new FUSION and tried and tested Dreamline XG in my bag I am confident wherever I have to play in Australia I have the bowl to win" said David.
